SORYI Privacy Policy

This policy explains how SORYI, provided by META (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD., handles information when you sign in, make story choices, and create or replay films.

Information we process

• Account information: an email address or phone number used for verification, plus the name you choose for your story profile.
• User content: story choices, free-text responses, story progress, and the prompts and outputs needed to create your scenes.
• Films: generated film records, subtitles, and references to media associated with your story space.
• Security and service data: session identifiers, verification challenge records, timestamps, and protected network signals used to prevent abuse and operate the service.

How we use information

We use this information to authenticate you, restore your private story space across devices, generate and display story text and films, provide support, protect the service, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information and do not use it for cross-app tracking or third-party advertising.

Service providers

We use contracted cloud hosting, email/SMS delivery, and AI text, image, and video processing providers only as needed to operate SORYI. They process information under their own security and data-processing obligations. A generated video may be reused through a de-identified semantic cache only when it matches the same published story and language; raw private input and account identity are not stored in that shared asset.

Retention and deletion

Account and story data are retained while your account is active and as needed for security, backup, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. In the app, open Me, choose Delete account and data, and confirm. This permanently removes the account and its isolated story records from the active service. Limited backup or security records may remain temporarily where required, then expire under our retention practices.

Your choices

You can stop providing new content, sign out, or delete your account in the app. To ask about access, correction, privacy, or deletion, contact [email protected].
